Hello Coffee Friends! I’m so honored to be hopping along for the Fall / Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, and also joining in as a Sponsor once again. Thank you for allowing to play along again, Amy and all of the sensational coffee crafters!
I can’t wait to see all of the submissions for fall & winter. Both of mine lean to winter, and I just have to say I’m majorly out of practice in making cards. LOL
To get all of the details about the hop, linking up to win, and all of the amazing prizes, check out the Coffee Lovers Blog. Prizes awarded based on participation rather than commenting, so we really hope you will join in.
My Gifts to You
So I have a few things for you today. First – a coupon code! 20% off all digital products in the store. The coupon is available for the duration of the hop, Nov. 30 – Dec. 7.
If you haven’t been to my shop, I have digital stamps and cut files, but I’ve recently added a watercolor graphics set and also a script font. More on that later. Here is the code to use in the shop at checkout.

Second gift – I’m giving $10 gift cards to 2 submission winners, so please make sure you play along with us.
My last gift – based on a recent product mock-up, I decided to create a file to share with all of you – Free and ready to download the zip file now!
Baby It’s Cold Outside digital file PNG, DXF & SVG.
Simply click the aqua button to download the file.
This file can be used to print, cut or foil and would be a great addition to cards for the hop, or any cards or projects you are making this year. The image features one of the cards I created, but you’ll have to keep scrolling to get the details on that.
The lettering in the image is actually my font, Faithfully. There are more photos and details of the font on that page. If you are interested in the font, but not sure about getting it, this free download is a great way to see it up close.
Ok – now for my cards.
This card is reminds me of fun holiday china (although these cups are “chunky”) and the gold paint they put on the edge of the cups. I used some bronze paint to paint the back panel, and used distress inks to color the front panel. I was trying to get a bit more pink, but without it going too bright. It’s a bit more pink in real life. The cups include one of the arrangements from my new graphics set Peace & Joy Seasonal Watercolor Floral Collection. The set includes elements that could take you through the year, and some fun bonuses too.
I put the png images into my Silhouette software and print and cut them on my Cameo using the Coffee Cup freebie I created for the Spring / Summer Hop.
There are layers of foam behind to get them standing out and one in front of the other. I’ve also used some Distress Ink Tea Dye watered down to paint the tea inside the cup. In the picture below, the metallic paint really shines and shows more dimension.
Peppermint Mocha – Mug Card
I thought this card was just too cute and new I had to put this saying to good use on a huge red mug! The mug is also from the Coffee Cup file on my freebies page. The whipped cream part is from the Coffee – Hot & Cold Cut Files set in my shop.
Using the Silhouette software tools, I took the two shapes and the sentiment and planned the layout and copied and merged the cream and mug to make the card background (kraft). That shape was then flipped horizontally and merged with the first shape to get a card fold on the left and a silhouette of cup.
The sentiment is printed on my laser printer in black, and then foiled white. I added some shimmer to the cream and a couple of peppermints to finish it off.
This is a great card to give with a gift card inside and the recipient will get a kick out of it with it’s unique shape.
I’m so glad you stopped by and I hope you found some inspiration here today. Don’t forget to play along with us to have a chance to win! Good Luck!
